Dr. Maria Davidson earned her DVM from St. George’s University in 2011, completing clinical rotations at Iowa State University. Her commitment to comprehensive wellness led her to become a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) through Chi University in 2019, and she is actively expanding her expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCVM), including food therapy, herbal therapy, and Tui-na (a form of therapeutic massage that aims to restore balance and harmonize the body’s channels and promote healing by manipulating the body’s Qi and blood flow). Dr. Davidson is also Fear Free and Human Animal Bond certified.
She is fluent in English and Spanish and cherishes the ability to connect with pet owners and understand their unique bond with their animals - a highlight of her work. Dr. Davidson is interested in integrative medicine and providing the best of both worlds (western and eastern medicine) to help her patients. Having gained diverse experience across the Caribbean, Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast, this former Atlanta resident is excited to bring her unique skillset to Central Florida. When not caring for patients, she cherishes moments with family and friends.
