Dr. Jordan Combs is a Kentucky native who earned her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from Morehead State University in 2017. She spent seven years working in small animal practice, gaining valuable experience as both a veterinary assistant and a licensed veterinary technician.
In 2021, she was accepted into Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and went on to complete her clinical training at Michigan State University in 2024. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in January 2025 and subsequently relocated to DeLand, Florida, joining the team at Florida Wild Veterinary Hospital in March.
Dr. Combs has a strong interest in small animal medicine, with enthusiasm for dermatology, ophthalmology, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, and acupuncture. While she is not yet TCVM certified, she is looking forward to training and completing this course in the near future! She is passionate about integrating conventional and holistic treatment approaches to develop personalized care plans that meet each patient’s unique needs. Committed to lifelong learning, she is excited to serve the DeLand community and foster lasting relationships with pet owners who value compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys staying active at the gym, traveling, spending quality time with loved ones, and visiting the beach with her beloved coconut retriever, Truffle.
