Dr. Derek Hopkins earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Stetson University in 2018 before pursuing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2026.
Dr. Hopkins has special interests in emergency medicine, diagnostic imaging, and soft tissue surgery. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their two pets, Yahtzee, a Golden Retriever, and Atlas, their cat. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and surfing.
