What is Ozone Therapy?

Ozone therapy is a form of alternative medicine treatment. It’s purpose is to increase the amount of oxygen in the body through the introduction of ozone/oxygen.

What Does It Do?

Ozone therapy is administered with the use of oxygen, ozone, or hydrogen-peroxide via gas or water to kill disease microorganisms, improve cellular function, and promote the healing of damaged tissues. As long as the body’s needs for antioxidants are met, the use of certain oxidative substances will stimulate the movement of oxygen atoms from the bloodstream to the cells. With higher levels of oxygen in the tissues, bacteria and viruses are killed along with defective tissue cells. The healthy cells survive and multiply more rapidly. The result is a stronger immune system.

Prolozone Therapy

Prolozone is a technique that combines homeopath and oxygen therapies to treat pain and stimulate regeneration and healing. It involves injecting various combinations of procaine, anti-inflammatory medications/homeopathics, vitamins, minerals, and ozone gas into joints and areas of pain. The reason that some injuries completely heal and others don’t has to do with circulation.

In order for a damaged area of the body to regenerate and heal, it must have the critical elements that only the blood can provide: vitamins, minerals, and oxygen.
